Well, it’s been a while since I have been here and since I have some time now I figured I’d write some about what has been up. SL has lost much of it’s shine for me I have to say. When I think about it, there is much wrong with SL and LL but in the end, the reality is the place just takes too much time and money to do anything significant in.

Cool, got another patch accepted into the viewer. This one allows dynamic loading of grid info into the viewer so you can use the same viewer for non-linden grids instead of having 100 batch files and copies of links lying around. That’ll make life easier
From the meeting today it looks like there is some interest in updating the script editor too so maybe the 50 patches I have lying around for that will become worthwhile. Man, they are slow sometimes.
So, Rails burned me for the last time and I had to ditch it. Too much time trying maintain the thing. I have been playing around with Joomla and Wordpress but I don’t know. I’m not really happy with either, though Wordpress 2.5 is a nice update. I guess I am going to have to write my own thing in PHP. Stupid Rails. I really wish it worked. Ruby makes me happy but Rails is retarded. Now I just need to figure out how to move all the old content over. Bleh!
